I keep one of these kits in each of the cars in my household. I use a pencil case to hold it all. Here is what I include:

• nail file
• nail clippers
• scissors- sharp- to cut the seat belt in an accident or as a weapon if needed
• bandages
• mints/gum/candy for breath or hunger emergencies
• quarter (for Aldi carts) or $20 cash for emergencies
• hand lotion
• pain reliever tablets
• hand sanitizer
• pocket tissues
• lip balm
• extra pair of sunglasses
• small flashlight
• pen/paper

I also keep a blanket in the car, a trash bag, and my reusable shopping bags.
