Did you watch the Billboard Music Awards last night? If not, you missed out!

I love to watch award shows, especially on DVR, so I can avoid all the commercials and acts I don’t care for!

In the past, it seems I was fast-forwarding A LOT through the shows, but last nights show was incredible!

Kelly Clarkson kicked it off with an AMAZING medley of songs. I was asking myself which act was the opening act- Kelly Clarkson or Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie? They were both phenomenal!

I wanted to post the Kelly Clarkson opening medley, but I do not see one that does it justice on YouTube yet, so I will post it when I see it. However, her “Broken & Beautiful” song was just as fantastic. I have been a fan of hers since she won American Idol, and she has not slowed down a bit. She seems to be a very grounded star with her heart in the right place. When the kids began singing, I also teared up like Chrissy Metz. What a powerful message.
