Use Recycled paper products.
I just returned from my favorite store. I needed to get more computer printer paper. When I went down the aisle there were only a couple choices of paper, since my favorite store is certainly not an office supply store.
I looked at the cheapest ream, since it is just for daycare projects and daily notes. Right above that ream was the same paper ream but with 30% recycled content. Guess which one I chose?
Any choice we make that helps out the recycling movement is a good one. It was 50 cents more, but that is hardly a reason to choose the non-recycled ream. We need to show a demand for recycled content in our paper products and maybe someday that will be most of what is used.
When you are looking to purchase paper products, look to see if there is any recycled content in the product. If there is, consider purchasing that product and join in the recycle movement.
