Pass on your magazines.

If you get a magazine subscription in the mail, like I do, please think about giving it to someone else to enjoy when you are done.

I know some people would say to be more eco-friendly, magazine subscriptions should be stopped in favor of online subscriptions. I just do not get the same satisfaction from reading a magazine or book online versus in paper form.

I think any printed materials should be passed on as much as possible. That is why I love libraries and borrow books instead of paying for them. I have been making a library in my home and have been getting the books from second-hand stores and from resellers. Garage sales and estate sales are great places to find them as well.

I am also using magazines for collages for the daycare. I have a stack of women’s magazines and a stack of nature magazines that I save for those. Daycares and preschools would be great to donate these kind of magazines to if you have an abundance.

I only receive one magazine subscription now. I will be passing it around my extended family as much as possible. Once everyone is done with it, it will be recycled. Think about doing the same if you have magazines, so their life is much longer than one look-through.
