Do not flush wipes.
I use baby wipes in the daycare and also “flushable wipes” in our bathrooms throughout the house. I also use disinfectant wipes for cleaning door handles and light switches and such.
No matter which wipes I use, I always throw them in the trash when I am done using them. Even though a wipe is labeled “flushable,” it does not mean it should be flushed.
Especially in the times we are living in now, when toilet paper is in shortage and more wipes are being purchased as a replacement, we must remember to throw them away. Sewer drains are being clogged, which causes many more troubles. Sewers were not meant to hold wipes, which are much more durable than even triple ply toilet paper.
So if you need to use them, do it, just dispose of them in the safest way for the environment. Trash them!
