No more straws!

Posted on June 20, 2019May 25, 2020

When I was working with the Green Team at my daughter’s elementary school, we proposed to get rid of all the straws in the lunchroom except for those kiddos that needed them due to special needs. It went over really well, and it did not seem to really bother the ( more… )

I think this is so true. Every kiddo learns to crawl, walk, and run in their own time. It is the same for learning. I see kiddos at two years of age that know all their letters, shapes, numbers, and colors. I also see five year-olds that still don’t know ( more… )

Posted on May 2, 2019May 25, 2020

Did you watch the Billboard Music Awards last night? If not, you missed out! I love to watch award shows, especially on DVR, so I can avoid all the commercials and acts I don’t care for! In the past, it seems I was fast-forwarding A LOT through the shows, but ( more… )

Entitled Teen

Posted on April 27, 2019May 25, 2020

So, I have a household with two teens. I love them both more than anything. My daughter is 13 and her brother will be 19 and graduating next month. The 19 year-old has been a challenge throughout his lifetime, ( I will talk more about that at another time) but ( more… )
