Recycle or reuse your old phone books.

I am sure most of us have one of these hanging around. They still get delivered each year, even though the version has become smaller and smaller over the years.

Once I get mine, it immediately goes into the recycle bin. However, not all recyclers recycle the phone book, so you should check if you are unsure.

If you can not recycle the book, you can shred it and use it in your backyard composter, use it as mulch for plants as it will decompose, or you can use it as a firestarter in your outdoor fire pit.

If you don’t want the hassle of the phone book at all, reach out to the phone book company and ask them to stop delivering your book.
