Be mindful of the noise you make.
Have you ever been at a stoplight and a car pulls up next to you with it’s bass pumping so loud you can not even hear your own radio? Have you ever been in the yard with a bunch of kids playing and a car drives by with foul mouth lyrics spilling out of it? It is extremely irritating. This is what I mean by noise pollution.
Because I have a daycare in my home, and I have neighbors on both sides of me, I try to be mindful of the noise we make when we are outside. I always ask the kids to keep from “screechy screaming.” They are allowed to yell all they want, but not the blood-curdling, ear piercing screaming.
Now, especially, with so many people working from home, I do not want the kiddos screaming to be intrusive to the neighbors. I do not want my neighbors to be annoyed by the noise. So far, I have not received any complaints.
I love to listen to my music loud in the car. Since, no one in my house likes the same kind of music I do, it is the one time I can enjoy it without hearing any static about it. However, when I stop at a light, I make sure it is not ear-splitting to those around me. I don’t listen to music with foul language, so I don’t have to worry about kids hearing that.
I think everyone should be considerate of those around them, especially children. When listening to music, this means not drowning out others music with yours. It means not allowing foul language be heard by “little ears.” We can enjoy our music without inflicting it on others.
I抦 not that much of a online reader to be honest but your blogs really nice, keep it up! I’ll go ahead and bookmark your website to come back later on. Cheers
