Stop animal testing.

This picture is very disturbing to me, since rabbits are my favorite animals.

I have never understood why things need to be tested on animals. They do not have the same internal composition or skin composition as a human, so they would not react the same as a human would. I also believe that products need to be tested on humans anyway, so why the extra step on animals first?

At least one million animals are killed in laboratories in the United States in the name of animal testing. (peta.org)

These animals are experimented on and then killed or vice-versa for drug testing, cosmetics testing, food testing, biology lessons, and other medical and chemical testing.

These animals suffer harm and distress under this experimentation and ultimately die for the “good of science.”

If you want to support companies that do not use animal testing on their products, look for the leaping bunny certification on the bottle.

We need to force companies to find other ways to test their products or use ingredients in their products that we know are not harmful to humans or animals.
