Day 31- Rags

Use old clothes for rags.

When you have clothes you can no longer use because of stains or holes and they are not donatable, consider using them for rags.

I use my husband’s old white T-shirts for dust cloths, nail polish remover cloths, and cleaning and polishing rags. I have also used his old “quitter” socks for the same purposes.

I use some of our old printed T-shirts for paint shirts for the daycare. They are perfect as they are big, so they cover all the kiddos outfits well. They can all be washed together so there are no worries about paint leaching onto other things.

When you use your non-donatable clothing in this way, you are keeping it out of the landfill and avoiding buying rags at the store. It is a win-win!
