Turn the water off when you brush your teeth.
It does not seem like it would be wasting that much water, but you would be surprised. It is recommended that you brush your teeth for two minutes, so that is two minutes of unneeded water running right down the drain. Some people recommend using a cup of water, so you can dip your brush into that if you need more water. I have not tried that method, because I don’t want to waste a cup or wash the cup when I am done.
The CDC estimates that there are 790 million people that do not have access to fresh water. I know how blessed I am to have access to all the water I need, so I try not to waste the water I do use.
I will be adding another water saving trick to my blog tomorrow.
